Salida Mountain Trails is an all volunteer organization commited to building and maintaining sustainable, non-motorized, multi-user trails on public lands adjoining the city of Saliida. We are a chapter of Salida Parks Open Space and Trails, a 501c3 not for profit.
Donate to the Salida Mountain Trails
If you can't find the time to work on the trail system, how about sending us some money?
We use donated funds to purchase trail building tools ( we actually wear them out and need new ones occasionally), purchase liability insurance to cover our volunteers, match grants, and where conditions warrant to hire professional trail building crews like the Southwest Conservation Corp or Arrowhead Trails.
When we pay to have trail built, the costs run up to 5$ per foot! Over 5000 feet in a mile, it adds up! Please consider becoming a member of SMT and/or Donating to The Little Rainbow Trail.
