The Salida Bike Park Committee Started in December of 2009.
The Salida Bike Park Committee (SBP) is a chapter of SPOT and SMT. SBP built the first public bike park in Salida in the spring of 2010.
Our first bike park was a pump track. A pump track is a continuous dirt loop of berms and rollers in which anyone regardless of age or ability can ride on in a low risk environment.
The Home Run Pump Track is located in Marvin Park. Marvin Park is located on Hwy 291 (also First St.) heading west towards 285 from Downtown Salida. Let Google show you the Pump Track location.
As the road turns near the baseball fields take a right into the parking lot and head to the northwest corner by the tan shed. You will see the posted rules and entrance to the park.
The park consists of 3 different courses from beginner to moderate.
SBP is looking for volunteers to help with maintenance if you are interested contact Fawn at salidabikepark@gmail.com.
